I love Crafty Weekends

The Crafty Weekend posts have to be my favorites.  I have so much fun searching out inspiration and being inspired myself.  There are so many creative people and ideas out there.

This week we feature this beautiful Binder Cover from Moda.  I can see it on a school binder, a photo album, a scrapbook or a journal…maybe even a family history???  Lots of possibilities.

Also, this ruffled skirt tutorial.  It is easy to modify to fit any size.  You can easily change the size of the ruffle, double the ruffle, or leave it off altogether and make a simple a-line skirt.  My favorite part of this tutorial is the waistband.  It gives very professional and comfortable results.

Finally, take a look at this Scrappy Quiltby Liesel.  Again, I can see this as anything from a baby quilt to a lap quilt to a throw.  You might have to modify size, but dig into your scrap and make it for men or women, teens or children.

Remember to bring in your projects or send us pictures for Show and Tell.  Have a crafty weekend!
