Crafty Weekend: pincushions

Everyone who sews needs a pincushion.  Even people who don’t sew need pincushions.  Fill them with sand or stones instead of fiberfill or steet wool and they make great paperweights. Some people even collect pincushions.  They make very useful items and fine conversations pieces besides.

Here are a few favorites to try out:

a patchwork pincushion from paperstringcloth

or a wildflower pincushion

Or, if you are ready for something a little more exotic, pincushion sewing kits fom Monkeyroom.

and, if none of these strike your fancy, a list of 60 possibilities from Tip Nut.  That should be enough pincushions, don’t you think!?
