Quilter Books…

OK, admit it.  If you are a sewing/quilting type and you aren’t currently sewing, you are probably thinking about it.  So, why not read about it, too.  There are good quilting books out there, and I’m not talking patterns and techniques only, but books about people who quilt.

There are people who quilt alone, people who quilt in groups, people who solve mysteries about quilts and people who solve mysteries while quilting.

The Quilter's Apprentice [QUILTERS APPRENTICE]

I have read the Elm Creek Quilt books by Jennifer Chiaverini, but there are many others.

Vesuviusmama has created a pretty comprehensive list of Quilting Fiction that I like to refer to for reading ideas.  You might like it, too.  Take a look here.

Do you have a favorite?  Maybe a suggestion that isn’t on this list?  Just drop a line and let us know.
