Crafty Weekend: Skirts

Ah, spring!  Time for a new skirt.  Why not make one for yourself, and one for a friend.

Sew mama sew has this ruffle skirt–I have made several of these with slight variations for children and adults.  The waistband is my favorite element

the easiest of all Lazy Days Skirt.  I like that oliver + s has prepared a PDF version of the pattern.

and a simple circle skirt.  This one uses quite a bit of fabric, but the effect is worth it!  Works well for large prints that you want to show off, or for solids with a very dramatic or very subtle effect, depending on fabric choice.
