The “Marlene went to Quilt Market” Sale

As you may have heard, Marlene went to quilt market. So, while the rest of us are in charge (sort of) there are some great sales going on this weekend.

All sale fabric is only $3/yard!
Southwest fabric is 20% OFF
Amy Butler fabric is 20% OFF
Hello Luscious fabric is 20% OFF
Flea Market Fancy fabric is 20% OFF

Yes, that is a lot of SALE, but we know Marlene will fill the shelves to overflowing when she gets back, so we need to get rid of some stuff NOW.

It’s a FAIR sale

The local Weber County Fair is in full swing.  If you haven’t yet had the chance, stop by and see all of the attractions–particularly the quilts.  My Heritage Fabrics customers are well represented.

And, after the Fair, swing by the shop.  We’ve got a great sale going on.

See this fabric?

And this?

And THIS?

And even this that just came in (thank you UPS man)?!

Well, it is all on SALE.  All Halloween, Fall and Christmas fabric is 25% OFF until Saturday.  Come by and get started on a new project today!

Open House Event: Verla Hasler

Stop by My Heritage Fabrics tomorrow, Saturday, July 28th!

You may have seen the beautiful quilts hanging in our classroom – if not you really should! Verla Hasler will be here Saturday from 1-3 to greet everyone and tell you about her wonderful quilts. She has great color sense, her quilts are fun and each has a story to tell.

Plus, you can learn more about upcoming classes that Verla is teaching as a new instructor for My Heritage Fabrics. We are so happy to have her on our teaching staff.

Please make her welcome by stopping by on Saturday.

We feel fortunate and grateful that our customers are willing to share their quilts with us. It has been a lot of fun to see the variety of quilts each person has.

Pioneer Day

Tuesday, July 24, is a holiday here in Utah, commemorating the arrival of the first settlers to the Salt Lake City area in 1847.

We will be open that day, but with reduced hours.  Come in Monday between 10am and 6:30pm or Tuesday between noon and 5pm-ish.  Marlene will be in the shop ready to help you remember those pioneers, who were great quilters, with a little quilting celebration of your own.

Better late than never: Shop Hop report

The Beehive Buzz Shop Hop was a great success.  Many friends old and new stopped by for all sorts of fabric fun.

The Hawaiian theme gave rise to fun and games.  Including hula…

and hula hoop.

Some shoppers were tired by the end.

But all agreed it was FUN, FUN, FUN and they can’t wait until the next time.

Mark your calendars.  The next Shop Hop is October 17-20.

$5/yard fabric?!?!

Yes, Marlene is out of town on a much needed vacation and we are sorting, cleaning and PUTTING FABRIC ON SALE!

The sale section is now priced at $5/yard.  And we have added bolts and bolts of new fabrics.  After all, shipments are arriving daily.  We unpacked nine boxes of fabric today and more on the way.  Come help us make some space!
